27 weeks.

how far along: 27 weeks

total weight gain/loss: omg...i have already gained 20 lbs.

maternity clothes?: i have pieces but i try to mix my maternity clothes with regular clothes.

stretch marks?: not yet.

sleep: if i have my body pillow, i sleep like a bear in the wintertime.

best moment this week: feeling my little girl kick every time is absolutely amazing to me.

miss anything?: sushi. i technically can have it, but i'm holding out until the day i have her.

movement: yes, she already is a night lifer.

food cravings: popsicles! love them.

anything make you queasy or sick?: not anymore, thank goodness.

have you started to show yet?: oh most definitely.

gender predicition: i KNOW she's a girl. :)

labor signs: no and i will freak out when this becomes yes.

belly button in or out?: in, but it is becoming shallower.

wedding rings on or off?: engagement ring: off, wedding ring: getting there.

happy or moody most of the time?: i'm pretty happy MOST of the time. i have cranky days though.

looking forward to: my next appointment with the doctor i had before i moved to texas. :)

what i'm loving wednesday: anniversary edition.

i've been married for two years! well, yesterday was my anniversary. most people don't think is cause to celebrate but considering most of the people in my generation barely make it past the first year, i would say i've done pretty well. :) so, i thought to celebrate i would share some of my favorite things and memories from that day....what i was loving you can say. :)

* i absolutely love my engagement and wedding band. i'm sorta sad right now because the engagement ring doesn't fit my fat fingers anymore after pregnancy. that's okay. one day!

* i love that i had original ideas for my wedding. i was very clear i wanted it to be different. from the feather topiaries (above picture) to lady gaga being played during the wedding. i had a very unique wedding.

* i love my cousins. these are just three of us out of the five, but it's amazing to see us all grow up. it seems like only yesterday i was 5 years old holding chelsea like a baby doll.

* i love being a prichard. here's the immediate part of my prichard gang...although there are many more.  i love being an aunt, too! dream come true. but these girls make it easy.

* here' s a picture of me & my dad. i love that necklace. it was passed on to me for my wedding day  in memory of my grandma.

* i love this girl. i haven't kept in touch since marriage, so we've been off the wagon lately. but ,she was my maid of honor. she has been my best friend since the sixth grade. not many people find friendships that last that long...but i've been fortunate to keep a majority of mine.

* i love this picture of me & my mom. :)

* i am a total grandpa's girl. i LOVE my grandpa! he's probably the best grandpa a girl could ask for.

* of course, i love this man. :)

* and lastly, i loved my colors...my cake...my flowers. they were all me. :)

i can say that it has been a challenging two years, but some of the best years of my life so far. i know we have so much more to look forward to with our precious little girl coming into the world. here's to many more years with a great husband!

Nursery Concept

This is just a concept! But I had the hardest time making up my mind about this little girl's room! My mom is making the bedding because I'm so picky!

We are doing black and white prints with hot pink and lime green accents.

Busy Month!

I have been super busy these last few months with prepping for Lila. To top that off we are moving back to Arkansas to be closer to our families. So I haven't had much time for blogging lately.

But here's what is going on in my pregnancy so far:

-My sweet baby girl is almost 2 lbs.
That is so crazy to me!

-She is most active at night and early morning.

-She likes Justin Bieber and the song "I'm Sexy and I Know It." I have a feeling I have some fun times with her.

-I feel great. I'm experiencing though that the second trimester energy spurt has come and gone. Now I get tired putting on clothes!

Who run the world?

GIRLS!

And they run the Prichard family too. We are having a sweet baby girl!! She is the next in line to a lineage of beautiful girls! I'm not exaggerating! All of the girls in the hubs family are just gorgeous! They all have the same little figure and long legs. From the looks of it, our little Lila is the same!

We are so excited! When we went in this morning, EVERYONE was so sure that we were having a boy but me. When the tech said girl, we were shocked. And she checked twice! Let's say I had a lot of I told you so phone calls to make.

We are already in love and can't wait to see her! But first...shopping!!! :)

20 weeks.

20 weeks! WHAT?!?! i don't even know what to say about that! i am halfway done with this pregnancy! CRAZY! seems like yesterday i was finding out i was pregnant! i am super excited that i have made it this far. God has definitely blessed the hubs and i with this amazing opportunity to be parents. i am a firm believer that it is a choice to be a parent. you don't have to do the deed, you know?  so, this is my opportunity to raise a child. can i tell you a secret?

sometimes this thought scares the poop out of me. i will be laying on my back, feeling sweet baby kicks, and just start crying. i know that this is a big life change...one i've been prepared to make, but still...this is HUGE!

some things i have learned about my baby this week:

{1} my baby loves justin bieber. actually, any pop/dance song. it just starts moving!
{2} my baby does not like when i shake my belly to wake him/her up to see if they are still there. i get angry kicks.

Total weight gain/loss: gained 5 lbs since last doctor's visit. kinda scared about the next. 
Maternity clothes? wearing more maternity clothes and some of my bigger clothes
Stretch marks? not yet. 
Sleep: horrible! i wake up five million times a night to pee or just because. my dog hogs the bed. but, i have a good book series to entertain me at wee hours of the morning.
Best moment this week: my sweet husband buying me more popsicles.
Miss Anything? HAVING ENERGY!
Movement: only when i lay down. i think i'm too active to feel it before then.
Food cravings: sugar! popsicles in particular.
Anything making you queasy or sick: not much anymore. i had the gags this week, but i think that is from my sinus infection.
Have you started to show yet: yep. :)
Gender prediction: i changed it to girl. :)
Labor Signs: no
Belly Button in or out? in
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: happy. 
Looking forward to: finding out the sex of my baby in 3 more days!!!

Anything making you queasy or sick: not much anymore. i only get queasy if i don't eat at certain times or dry mouth.
