new year's resolutions.

i know it's kind of late to be posting about new year's, but i am so excited about this year! well, everyone knows that we will be having our first baby in 2012! it is starting to become more real now. before, i felt like this pregnancy thing was nothing--i think mainly because we have lost a baby before. i haven't gotten too excited about the prospects of a little prichard running around our house, but now that i'm further along...it is definitely becoming more real. the best/worst part is that in this last week, POOF! there is my belly. poking out proud for the world to see. it is sorta cute. :) i'm mainly excited about february! that's when we get to find out if baby p is a baby c.a.p. or a baby l.g.p. and most definitely looking forward to name reveal.

another thing about 2012 is that is has all the potential to be something great! we are having this new person in our lives, new beginnings, and a change. i am very apt to change--seeing that i moved eight hours away from home in the past year.

15 weeks.

How far along? 15 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: not sure. i'll find out in a few weeks.
Maternity clothes? Have some things, wear some things, but still wear my normal clothes too.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: sometimes good. sometimes bad. depends on my back.
Best moment this week: my mom and michael's mom coming down from arkansas!
Miss Anything? having energy for things.
Movement: i'm not sure yet. i will let you know next week.
Food cravings: STEAK! i know, this is weird. but i could eat steak everyday! seriously.
Anything making you queasy or sick: not much anymore. i only get queasy if i don't eat at certain times.
Have you started to show yet: i can't tell, but everyone else says yes.
Gender prediction: Boy
Labor Signs: no
Belly Button in or out? in
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: cranky!!! i am always cranky. i can't seem to shake it.
Looking forward to: finding out the sex of the baby in february and movement!

14 weeks.

baby prichard is the size of a lemon. LEMON! inside joke from when i was way younger.

How far along? 14 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: i'm pretty sure i gained after this weekend. baby prichard got tons of food and i'm sure was excited about it since i haven't had much of an appetite.
Maternity clothes?  currently wearing one maternity shirt. yes, i've stepped it up since last week. :)
Stretch marks? no.
Sleep: not sleeping well at all. i'm thinking about investing in a pregnancy pillow.
Best moment this week: christmas! even baby prichard got something from Santa.
Have you told family and friends: yes!
Miss Anything? still sushi.
Movement: not yet, but i swear i can sometimes feel a little something going on in my belly.
Food cravings: i've been eating ham and beans like crazy this week.
Anything making you queasy or sick: dry mouth.
Have you started to show yet: i have a little bump.
Gender prediction: i hate to admit it, but i think it may be a boy.

Happy or Moody most of the time: cranky. i'm not a very nice pregnant lady.

13 weeks.

Total weight gain/loss: not quite sure if i've gained.
Maternity clothes?  walked into motherhood and got freaked out, so i've been buying plus size clothing.
Stretch marks? no, but i'm itching like crazy.
Sleep: sleeping pretty well if my back doesn't hurt.
Best moment this week: being in the 2nd trimester!!
Have you told family and friends: yes!
Miss Anything? sushi, although my doctor told me i could have it....
Movement: not yet.
Food cravings: any sort of potatoes.
Anything making you queasy or sick: toothpaste and bananas.
Have you started to show yet: i have a little bump.
Gender prediction: i hate to admit it, but i think it may be a boy.

our announcement.

well, as many of you may have guessed or known, bustin' for a bump is changing! we are expecting our bundle of joy in july 2012. with all of these new changes in our lives, we want to share all with you. lots of plans are going into this blog for the beginning of the new year--with weekly updates on Baby Prichard and the bump that will be carrying him/her. i admit that in the past i did not chronicle the journey it took to get to this point, but c'est la vie. things happen and you can't control them. God is in control. so, we will start with 12 weeks!

Baby Prichard: 12 weeks old. 2 inches long.

How far along? 12 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: down 10 lbs in my pregnancy
Maternity clothes?  Don't have any but rumor is that I am getting some for the holidays. Just lots of stretchy pants.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Sleeping great
Best moment this week: getting to see Baby Prichard move! What an active little thing!
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Not really.
Movement: Not that I can feel yet, but he/she was doing flips and kicking and punching at the ultrasound.
Food cravings: Mash potatoes.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Toothpaste and sometimes textures from bananas
Have you started to show yet: looking chubby for sure
Gender prediction: I have no idea! Michael thinks boy.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, sometimes I can get a little moody though.

thanksgiving.

for one, i have been a horrible blogger. i know i say that every time, but in due time, you will know why i have not stayed on top of this thing.

i have to say that i've had the best thanksgiving this year with my sweet husband! he has the tradition of going to the dallas cowboys game with his mom every year. this year, we went together. it was my very first nfl game to ever attend. not to mention that last year, he went without me while they were playing my favorite team--the saints. i'm not a HUGE fan of football, but i pick the teams with the cutest players or whoever a celebrity dated. it's how i identify with the sport. AND not to mention that the musical guest was keith urban...ahem. but, i was super excited when i was able to go this year with him. here are some pics of our trip. :)

i know, i know. i am a horrible blogger. :) life has been horribly busy, so here's what i'm loving for the past twenty wednesdays. :)

* i'm loving that we got to go home in october to visit our families! and i'm loving these girls! and by the way, many of these pictures were stolen from family members...because i have a different phone.
